Letting the Bridge of Incidents Unfold

Letting the Bridge of Incidents Unfold

We often ask for change — and then resist the very path that brings it.

The Law of Assumption teaches that once you assume your wish is fulfilled, the world rearranges itself in unseen ways to match that assumption. This rearrangement is what Neville Goddard called the Bridge of Incidents — a series of seemingly natural events that lead you from your current reality to the fulfilled state.

But here’s the key:
You are not responsible for how it unfolds.
Your only job is to remain faithful to the state.

What Is the Bridge of Incidents?

The Bridge of Incidents isn’t always beautiful.
It’s not always logical.
And often, it’s completely unexpected.

You might lose something. Someone may exit your life. A delay may show up. But what looks like chaos is often the exact route to your desired reality.

Neville once said:

“Let us go forward believing in Him, believing that He exists and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.”

“Him” is your imagination — your I AM — the center of your assumptions. When you persist in your desired state, you spark a chain reaction that the rational mind could never predict.

The Mind Wants to Interfere

The ego will often step in and say:

  • “This can’t be the way.”

  • “I need to take action now.”

  • “Nothing is happening!”

But assumption is not passive. It’s active creation in the unseen. And the bridge only begins to unfold after you’ve moved into the new state and chosen to dwell there.

Imagine placing an order online. You don’t keep checking the factory or tracking every truck. You trust it’s being fulfilled.

That’s how the Law works.

How to Let It Unfold Without Resistance

  1. Persist in the State
Every time doubt creeps in, remind yourself:
“It is done. I am that.”

  2. Stop Monitoring the 3D
The outer world is old news — it’s a shadow of previous assumptions.
Focus instead on how it feels to already have what you desire.

  3. Respond from the Fulfilled State
Let your reactions reflect the assumption that it’s already yours.
This is what maintains the bridge.

  4. Don’t Label Experiences as Good or Bad
A breakup, job change, or unexpected expense may feel like a setback — but it could be the very thing clearing the path.

The Bridge Is Always Building

The moment you truly assume your desire — the bridge begins to construct itself. Not with lightning bolts or magic wands, but through natural and logical chains of events that feel like life happening… until you look back and realize: “Of course that had to happen.”

That’s the beauty of the Law.
It works through life, not around it.

Let it work.

Final Thought

You’re not the architect of the bridge.
You’re the one who declares the end — and walks forward in faith.

Let the scenes unfold. Let people come and go. Let events rise and fall.
You just stay in the state.

And trust this:
If you assumed it, the bridge is already building.

Walk calmly. Walk boldly.
The end is waiting to meet you halfway.
