Dwell in the State — Not in the Doubt

Dwell in the State — Not in the Doubt

To dwell means to inhabit. To live somewhere.
So the question becomes:
Where are you living in consciousness?
Are you dwelling in the state of your desire already fulfilled — or are you lingering in worry, doubt, and lack?

According to the Law of Assumption, the state you dwell in becomes your world.
It isn’t a matter of momentary belief. It’s about persistent inner residence.

Your State Is Your Home

Neville Goddard taught that all states exist — and all are equally real.
You don’t create a state.
You simply move into it.

Just like entering a room, you can step into the state of wealth, love, freedom, healing, or joy — and remain there.

The key is to make the state feel like home.

Most people treat the state of the wish fulfilled like a hotel — visiting occasionally, but never unpacking.
They go back to their “real life” of fear and lack.

But your manifestation lives in the state.
So you must live there too.

Doubt Is a Sign You’ve Left the State

You don’t have to fight doubt.
You just have to notice it.

Doubt is feedback. It tells you:

“You’re no longer dwelling in the state.”

That’s all.

Instead of panicking or trying to affirm your way out, simply return to the state.
Return to the feeling of “It is done.”

Your job is not to remove all fear —
but to remain loyal to the state despite it.

How to Dwell in the State

Dwell means more than visit. It means live there. Breathe there.
Think from there.

Ask yourself:

  • What does this version of me believe?

  • What do they assume to be true?

  • How do they feel when they wake up?

  • What decisions do they make?

The state isn’t just about visualization — it’s about identification.
When you identify with the new state, you stop being the seeker… and start being the embodiment.

Return Gently, as Often as Needed

You will slip. That’s normal.

But when you do — don’t panic.
Don’t beat yourself up.

Just return.

Breathe.
Close your eyes.
And remember who you are in the state of the wish fulfilled.

Neville called this the art of dying
Dying to the old man and becoming the new.

It’s not a one-time event. It’s a daily art.

Final Word

Doubt isn’t the enemy — forgetting the state is.

So when you feel lost, frustrated, or impatient…
Ask yourself:

“Where am I dwelling right now?”

And if it’s not the state of the wish fulfilled — go back.
Not with struggle.
But with faithful remembering.

Because the world responds not to what you want…
But to where you live in consciousness.
